The Windsor Equestrian Centre, or Happy Trails Stables as it is known locally, has been operating in The Bahamas since 1977. The brainchild of Duke and Susan Smith, the stables began offering trail rides for visitors and residents from its location in Coral Harbour, a small scenic settlement on the beach, about 25 minutes from downtown Nassau, the Bahamas’ capital, and only 7 minutes from the prestigious Lyford Cay.
It was not long before the Smiths were boarding private horses and offering instruction for novice riders, all of which continue to this day.
